the only thing, it would never pass here because you'd have to do something about handrails on all the steps over 1 step high (all the steps) and the concave steps may look funny with a handrail.......rules are different everywhere, but if you build something like that without a permit here, they'll charge you to tear it down and then you still need to pay the permit costs whether you rebuild it or not....they're bitches.....and steps over 7" tall aren't permitted lol

looks cool though.....3 people could do that in a week easily....a lot of lumber though....

and something else, do you think it would look better if you stopped the handrail off at the first step instead of overlapping it and leaving the smaller "funnelled" opening.......that way you could utilize the whole first step if it where just cut back a few spindles

yeah they will have railings...just havent really added teh small details tot he design yet
