    CB7's theft rate...?

OK so my first car was a DA9, and it was pretty stock, but it looked appealing, so they stole it, and took my subs, amp, skunk2 shift knob, type r boot, and aem sri. So I got rid of the car, kinda because I was bored and I traded it for an EG. THey just stole my damn duckbill spoiler, and spoon style mirrors. This shit is pissing me off, this is in a matter of 3 months.

So, I'm considering getting out of the scene. However, I love Hondas and I can't see myself driving any other car in my budget. I'm 19 and can't afford something more than 3k. So I'm considering selling the EG and taking the money and buying another car, I don't like any other car in my budget that's not RWD (I live in Chicago, so no rwd for winters). And the American/domestic designs of the early '90s (my price range) don't appeal to me. The only cars I like are civics, accords, tegs. Can't have a vic or a teg because they'll get stolen, even if they're stock.

How about the accord? I really like cb7's or a 5th gen accord. How's the theft on these bitches if I keep them bone stock. Oh I want good gas mileage too, cuz it's expensive.

youll see a cb7 get stolen every so often, but DEFINATELY not as often as civics and tegs... and its usually cb7s that have something worth something, like JDM parts or high end stereo stuff. vics and tegs are the popular cars for the poor young tuners - since they are so popular, parts prices are inflated making people resort to theft... you wont hear of very many cb7 chop shops.

the cb7 is very very similar to the DA integra... i think you would learn to love the car, its a bit bigger, but similar enough and still awesome to drive. kept stock, i wouldnt expect the car to be going anywhere... just watch out or you might get bit by the cb7tuner bug and end up modding it

my suggestion is, lower your price range to $2800 - save the extra $200 for an alarm system. itll be worth it, and youll be very glad you have it if you do end up putting some money into modding the car.

and if you treat it nicely and its a clean good running car, expect mid to high 20's for mileage.

yeah, thats the problem that comes from the scene... just try to remember that as you invest money into the car, overestimate how much its gonna cost, because you should go with the extra preventative stuff too. like if you get some itr's, get a good set of wheel locks. you buy a car, get an alarm... put some good stuff under the hood, get hood locks.... etc

I kept tellin myself after the h22 it will be over and now its boosted and race ready. I still would not get an integra or a civic there are too many of em i say and look at it this way if you keep it lookin stock normal without any ricey shit on it youll be the last person cops will think about . Theyll go for the civics and integras and all those other shits.

Yeah, I hate all that ricey shit. That's why they're stealing my shit. THey see clean cars, and they start hating on my shit enough to steal it.

I don't know eventually maybe I'll get an h22, but keep it looking sleeper.

I nice coupe would be sweet in black or white in stick.
