I was coming home at 12:50 AM takin 2 friends of mine home, and this truck was going HELLA slow, so I sped up and went to go around him on a passing shoulder, he sped up, and we were doing 60 in a 45 (i thought it was 50). I see some headlights come on on the side of the road and flip a bitch, cop. I continue up the hill, he is just cruisin back there...but then after a mile or 2 he hauls up behind me and pulls ME over. Im thinking... OH FUCK!!! My friend next to me is piss drunk, his girlfriend is a little drunk and high, ive got beer in the trunk, and a suspended license. Cop gets my shit, and goes back to his car for no joke, 10 minutes. Another cop comes.... cool! One walks up on my passenger side, club in hand, other cop comes to me... "Dont let me catch you speeding around here again." That was that!. Im so damn lucky my 2nd ticket wasnt in the system yet. Faaaack. I hate being forced into taking drunkens home with their alcohol. Stupid mistake on my part.

Maybe a stupid mistake, but a smart one. You wouldn't want your friends to drive drunk because something may happen, then you'll be the one that will feel bad for not doing anything.

Props to driving your impared friends home.. but you're kinda risking it by driving on a suspended license. My friend learned not to do that because he got caught 2 or 3 times since they usually suspend it for 6 months or so.. but I'm glad you got off.

In NJ, that truck would have gotten a ticket for speeding up. It's illegal to not allow a passing car by. The cop was cool though... Perhaps he saw what was going on, and that you were a DD.

cool you got no ticket but if you did you could of contested it in court with the argument that you were the only sober person to drive, i know of people that have been pulled over with no license at all in there life and were let go because they were the only sober person, and were told to be careful and have a nice day, prop for be in the dd need more people like you i have done it my self
