im currently trying to find a new accord for my performace h22 turbo project, while jdming my other accord, but then sometimes im like why not just make one of my cars look nice and be fast so it all depends because if ur car looks nice then u take it to a car show or the track and its all stock motor its kinda weak....i would like 2 h22 accords, one turbo one all motor, one all jdm one all stock...

i think most of us are here for performance, but i cant speak for everyone, im sure there are ppl here that just want looks and build their car for shows and shit.

im not that type of person, i put money into the engine first, then if i feel like it, i might to some cosmetic stuff.

I'm all about being nice and clean. My motor is stock as all hell, as you can tell, i'm not going anywhere with these TL wheels. Not into Shows nor Races with my cb7. Just a cruiser for the weekends and meets.

I'm a tuner. I want the most out of what I've got. I like a great looking car also but my priorities are speed.
Looks are subjective anyways - there is no def. ending point or way of judging if you've progressed or not.
If you go 15.7, mod your car and run again at 14.5 then thats a def. increase.
Can you say the same for your body kit?
Again why would you make your car slower by adding 19" rims or something like that? Your not a tuner then, so thats fine it looks cool...but I want performance first.

i would have both, but i only make a little bit. and that little bit dont go far after paying my bills. common, i only have like $1500.00 disposible income a month, and i have lots of other interests. but i try to keep it as low budget as possible. and i live on "DIY's". god i wish i still lived with my parents. then i would have a complete paycheck to dump on my car...

to a point, i agree. making your car faster than stock is always a plus. but there is nothing wrong with having the best of both worlds. yes i'm kitted, and yes i'm on 18s(trying to go 19s).. but guess what, my 18s weigh lighter than most OEM wheels . and i'll be hittin' the mid-high 13s mark very soon. you can't say you're not a tuner just coz we're kitted. not all tuners focus on only one aspect of the whole "tuner" scene.
