Trunkswap + Hood Primed etc

Well im finally going to install my white trunk from my old car on my coupe. Nice 4 door trunk. Yay Now i can get tails <3. After long time of looking I got myself a pair of ALL clear tail lights. Ive wanted these for years. Im planning on making them red/clears =) but well see what happens.

I also am going to prime the trunk and possibly shave the h holes if i have time. Also sanding and priming the hood since the paint is all peeled


Just wanted to keep yal updated.

good luck getting a set of all-clear tails very very hard to get nowadays, i searched for almost a year and finally got a set for like 75 shipped from Aaron on here.

zach had a set until the car was totaled. and we ruined a set by putting too much paint on them.

I actually have them being send to me. got a killer deal on them from a salvage yard. there hott =) hehe

bump for the spray paint. 5 more hours till i start this. w00t. what since the trunk is white should I prime etc the underneath of it? Im thinking of primering it and painting it black

why don't you just wait until you have enough to have it professionally painted? they're going to charge you more since you spray painted it coz they can't paint over spray paint.

they'll take all that shit off.

Hmm.. I didn't go drive my car around with it primed and multicolor body panels. I saved for over a year before I could even afford to get it painted blue.

My body kit sat in my basement along with my Z3 fenders for 14 months before they were even taken outside. I guess some people are impatient and don't know the process of bodywork and how much more it'll cost in the end.

well, apparently you can see that not much goes through people's heads when they do things like that. as if it wasn't obvious before, it's quite clear now.
