need help. my car was towed away by the citty because it had no tags and an enspired stickers. now the car wasn't beeing drivng because it didn't work.
in order for me to get my car out of the fucking police lot what do i need to give the the fucking pigs?
like i just bought the car and i haven't done the registration tags insurance and all that shit. and i don't think i will do all of them till i swap the engine or some shitlike that. so what do i need to do in order to get the car

First off you are going to have to show proof of ownership, registration, insurance, etc.... Then you have to pay impound fees, then fees to take the car, storage, etc.... Do it quick cause that shit adds up freaking quick. My friend used to work for an impound lot so I know how it works.

You have to go to the police department to find out were your car is, then you have to pay them a fine, then they give you a release form which is signed by them,then u have to take to the inpound yard and you also have to pay a storage fee for them also which varies from state to state.

ok i just have the paper that shows the title transfer.
so in order to get my fucking car out i need
tags+tax $150
insurance--god knows how much
registration __$65
towing fee+storage $100
so in other words everything will end up more than i payed for the fucking car which i bought for $300
i just needed to take out the car and put it in the garage. why the fuck do i need insurance for a fucking car that is not gona move for at least 2 months.

Wait till they put the car up for auction, then go buy it again It'll probably be cheaper that way!

Honestly though, if you take the title (or proof of title transfer if you're waiting for your title) to the police, and pay their impound fees, you can probably get it back. Call them and ask, it's the only way to know for sure!

first of all i know 3 languages? how many do u know?

what i don't understand is why do i need insurance when the car is going to get towed by a garage place and will be in the garage for 2 months.
why do i need to pay 2 months of insurace when the car its not gona move at all.
and why while i was talking to the teller at the police impount she told me "to work something out with her manager and he should take care of me"

and the car wasn't driven. the car was pushed in front of my house so the tow truck can get it. oh i am sorry i should have given the guy the keys of my house and tell him to go into my garage and get the car

how come when u call the cops it takes them about 9 fucking months to come and pick an abandoned car that has been sitting in the front of the house for 9 months and now all of the sudden it takes them 2 days to write a report and tow the car away?
wow i belive its the % fee that these motherfuckers get when the ticket its sent at the car owners house for abandoning their car.... oh i can understand that after all its chrismas they have to buy those expensive gifts for their kidds and why work for it. why not just go out there give a lot of tickets and get that fucking gift.

Well, what's done is done. Perhaps you could've called for permission to leave the car in the road for a day or two, awaiting the truck... Regardless, you didn't, and now you have to get it back.

Hit the impound lot, talk to the manager. You're a nice guy, and obviously not a scumbag (I've met Klevis, I'm not just making assumptions) so when you explain your story, he'll probably cut you a break. You'll still have to pay something, but hopefully not too much! Unfortunately, you're probably going to have to find a way to keep it in the garage, and push it out to the truck when it gets there... Or be shady and put the tags from your other car on it It's a white CB7, like your old one, right? Fake em out! (not the best idea, but at least you could put tags on it!)

Unfortunately, now that your car has been moved to a junkyard, you're most certain to have to provide proof of insurance because youll have to bring it home

If it's not in your driveway, or on other private property its considered "on the road" whether you're driving it or not - and for cars on the road in PA, there are certain SPECFIC codes that need to be follwed (sucks, yes, but true) there are ways around it that i won't get into now, but if you don't follow the rules they'll do what they want, however there ARE some things that should be done...

I'm assuming you didn't flag your car with a note taped to the inside of the windshield or a "white flag" of sorts -- Like when your on the TPKE/ Schuykill/ wahtever and you see busted rides with a white grocery bag hanging out the window - that's the owners way of saying "OK I'm not abandoning it, please don't tow, I got it"

If you leave a car with all tags expired and no sign of your caring about the matter, they will treat your car as abandoned and take it away - BUT, there should have been an orange/ yellow "tow" tag/ticket/ warning on your car for at least 2 days before they took it - thats where im confused. (again, let me reference the dead hiway cars that ARENT flagged, you'll see the bright flourescent stickers on them saysing "TAKE THIS BITCH AWAY")

So head on over to the impound like deev suggests, be level headed and talk it over with the guy - maybe you can work something out -

i already was there and they told me that they can't give me the car without the paperwork beause they sent the paper work back to the police. in other words i am fucked.
i was wondering how come the car didn't have the orange sticker in the car or anything. it took two days to fill the report and get the ar towed.
well guys i am fucked i can't get the car out without at least $400

spelling made a big difference with your story, as it was unclear whether the car was driveable or not, which affects the reader's understanding of your vantage point, and the simple irony of the story:

an undrivable, untagged, unregistered, uninsured car on a public roadway. you wanted it towed, and it did get towed, just not to the location of your choice.
