on my way home from PSU i lost my front lip....and how?? to a christmas tree!!! what luck...it was dark and i was crusin at about 80 and out of nowhere i see branches and a tree laying in the middle of a 2 lane turnpike. i was afraid of stearing hard to miss it because i could have skid and kit the concrete wall on the side since it has just snowed a day earlier. when i pulled over a third of the lip was gone while the rest was still on. so this sucks and i guess i might be getting a new one in the spring.

Damn Pete, that sucks! I lost my lip on Thanksgiving last year... hit the remains of a deer (on rt295, go figure... major highway!) Tore my lip in half, and smeared the bottom of my car with blood and guts. Smelled like burning flesh for a week once the exhaust got hot. I think I still have some fur in my flexpipe! At least you only hit a tree!
