virus help

i keep gettin windows that say BLACKWORM VIRUS. then some i.e. windws up from "www.winfix or winfixer.com"i dont trust the www even though it says it will remove the virus. I have avg antivirus and its sayin no viruses on my pc. any one know anything about this? or how to get rid of it

you can try mcafee it has a free online scanner or norton o yeah and one other suggestion download firefox dude its way better then ie www.firefox.com

right click save target as:

download it to desktop.. run it.. click scan only.. scan.. wait for it to finish.. click config.. check the box that says mark everything to be fixed after scan.. click ok.. close everything.. rerun it.. click scan only.. let it scan.. wait for it to finish.. everything will be checked.. click fix all checked..

and ur done..

those are also good for gettin rid of stupid shit on your computer. i just install them, get rid of whatever is fucking it up, and then uninstall. you should get a good anti-virus/anti-spy/ad-ware/trojans and all that good shit.

hijack this isnt for n00bs, if you accidently delete something it could fuck up your computer..

there is also another program called ewido that works better than spy bot and Adware. you can download it at www.majorgeeks.com they have alot of shit and can help you too.

thanks for the help. i was thinkin it was spyware, so im lookin for my spyware thing. when the window pops up it mentions firefox so im stayin away from that. I use avant browser but that uses ie. ill take a screenshot next time i get it.




the pic looks real small how do i get a bigger one?
i do have windows defender so maybe this is legitimate but for some reason i dont trust it.i got adaware and jus scanned it. it did remove some stuff so ill wait and see if this anoying things pops up again

Also if your infected with a virus, it might be best to backup important data and wipe the drive with a fresh install of your OS. I do this myself cause I need a secure pc.
