Network guru's - Need help adding a Mac!

My g/f just purchased a mac and I'm trying to use our wireless connection at the house, however, when I try to connect the mac it asks for a password and I don't remember setting up a password when I installed the router, and I can't find how to change or retrieve a password to allow her computer on. Any ideas?

i try to just smile, and say everything’s fine.

      admin / admin
      administrator / adminstrator

      admin / <blank>

<blank>/ <blank> try leaving both fields blank..if not the combos on top should help.

        linksys router

        EDIT:

Tried the password combo's - no go. Still says it's the wrong password. I set this thing up and I don't recall ever putting a password on it. If I did there are only 2 possible choices, but I've exhausted both of those.

I'm assuming you have the wrt54g, most common. From the linksys web site, user manual for wrt54g...
          9. I forgot my password, or the password prompt always appears when I am saving settings to the
          Router.

Reset the Router to factory default by pressing the Reset button for 10 seconds and then releasing it. If you
are still getting prompted for a password when saving settings, then perform the following steps:
          1. Access the Router’s web-based utility by going to http://192.168.1.1 or the IP address of the Router.
Enter the default password admin, and click the Administration => Management tab.
          2. Enter a different password in the Router Password field, and enter the same password in the second
          field to confirm the password.
          3. Click the Save Settings button.
Btw, if its default admin, you leave the username blank.

          Also,
Will the Router function in a Macintosh environment?
Yes, but the Router’s setup pages are accessible only through Internet Explorer 4.0 or Netscape Navigator 4.0 or
          higher for Macintosh.
I don't know how accurate that is, but I know they won't provide tech support to mac users.

Finally got it working. I re-installed the linksys software and it gave me some whack ass password that I opted to save. I used that on the Mac and it works perfectly. Thanks for the help guys
