May Be Moving to Vegas ......

Ok .. here's the deal .. I got an offer to move to Vegas ..

I'm seriously thinking about it .. seeing that I'm sick and fawkin tired of the hurricane's.
Sick of losing power, and goin without water for days, sometimes weeks ..
What brain surgeon was it .. that thought of puttin power lines above ground
in a hurricane striken state? .. Wheww .. real rocket scince .. duh !

Also .. I've had a bone spur in my ankle .. for the last 20 years ..or what I thought
was a bone spur .. x-rays and ultra sound have shown nothing .. only acts up
when its really, really humid .. and le me tell ya .. it fawwwkin hurts ..

But tell me .. whats life like there in Vegas ? I know about the bad roads, the lousy
school systems .. (I'm single, no kids) and I've been told about the cost of housing
goin up, up, and up .. but where is'nt it?

I wanna know about great junk yards .. good auto body people .. awesome mech's
that know our CB7's ... The zip code I'm looking at is: 89148 .. Clark County?

After living in Hawaii my whole life .. then moving to Florida, and also visiting Lake Havasu,
I can handle the heat .. trust me .. I hate the fawkin humidity here in S. Florida,
and if it were not for that, and violent hurricanes .. I'd be in paradise ...

Its a nice offer that I have .. and some are telling me to just go .. BUT .. I wanna hear
what you Vegasonions .. lol .. have to say about the place ..

You see .. there's good and bad, in every city .. even here in Florida .. or my
hometown of Hawaii .. annnnnnd .. I bet there's even a crime rate of some
substantial significance in ...... Texas!!!!!!?? .. lol .. and please .. dont tell me no one
in TX is smoke free .. (where the fawk did that reference come from anyway?) lol

I wanna know about junkyards .. auto body people .. Honda *specialists* that someone
might be able to put me in the know with .. not about smoke filled inner cities, that
are crime ridden with sex and guns .. I already know about those places .. please ...

Whoa, another Hawaiian in the house. You'll more than likely never get homesick in Vegas with the huge population of "locals" there. That's one thing nice about a place like that... the food, the people, etc. That's one thing missing from where I live nowadays. *SIGH*

You are also close enough to CA where all the good parts are. I think it is a short drive to LA. For car stuff it seems it is always good to live close to CA. I still want to go to vegas for drinking, hookers, and gambling

Anyway, I think the market you're referring to is Uwajimaya? They have two in the Seattle area (one in the International district and the other in Bellevue) and another store just outside of Portland, Oregon.
