Well lately my life has been boring, since that girl story a few weeks back things havent been looking up but last night was actually kinda fun.
Well the day started out fine, I went to work and was just chilling all day. I ended up just staying in the office part of where I work and did absolutely nothing all day.
After work my boy called me up and want me to go with him to get his eye brows done(dont ask me why) so i was like eh, whatever. I went with him and then we ended up not being too far from roosevelt field mall, Ended up hitting up there and checking the place out. Girls are out around 6 but they all with their man's.
After that we were like oh shit we not that far from mustang magic. Mustang magic is a speed shop for mustangs. My friend and I were driving around with his 91 LX 5.0 mustang so we were like fuq it and drove to deer park to the place.
While there I was checking out the mustangs and shit. All i got to say is those cars are fucking hot. THere was a full turbo dragster to a full show car there. All mustangs.
After fucking around there he told me his cousin didnt live that far and we could go see her. Again I am like whatever man lets just go and kill some time.
Ended up at his cousin's house and then we saw a 1989 or so dodge Shadow TURBO in the driveway. Im like oh turbo huh. SO we bugged her to get the keys and started it up. The car needed a jump and it started up. We were bored and the car didnt have any insurace but still had plates so we took it out on the road.
My boy drove first and beat the hell out of it. THen it was my turn. I floored the car quiet a few times to see how fast it would go. We ended up hitting 85 but the car is pretty slow for a turbo. It was an automatic also.
Now here is the funny part.
The rev limiter is at 5500 and the redline is at 6k. Thats the wierd part. SO we are like fuck it, and were power shifting the car the whole way and I think i fucked things up when we were doing 60 and the car wouldnt kick down do i droped it into second gear and then the tach jumped to 6k and then back down.
Shortly after that the car started to bog down and sputter. Im like ummmmmm ummmmmm ok whatever and tried to get it home and when we got up to a stop sign the car just died and never started again. Would crank but no start. So i think we blew the engine on that bitch. lol
SO we are stuck on the side of the road and some stranger comes out and ask us if we need help and gives us a jump but didnt work, then the guys gives us a ride home.
Now this wouldnt be all that strage with the guy for others but in QUEENS where I am from we dont get that shit over here at all. ONLY IN LONG ISLAND people are nice like that. I was like daummmm thats some shit.
THe day ended with me coming home round 11 and having a slight headache from driving around in a mustang with NO cats and a loud ass exhaust for 50 miles.
