    find of a life time....

i got wind of an accord "in a field" from my sister, i ask for more details. she says it had a blown head. she said it looked like my wagon, but it was burgandy. w/ grey int. so i went and looked @ it last night. it was better than she said it was.

no dents, no rust, no dings or scratches. interior is in near 100% condition. head motor is still intact. i checked the milage, it reads 112,xxx. it's 95 lx sedan

i paid the man $400. i'll haul it home saturday. it's good to be the local king of hondas.

Nice find, my first car was a old '69 Ford truck that was in a field for 3 years. It had mice and stuff living in it, ha! After a carb cleaning, new plugs, wires, and points...... and a cylinder cleaning it fired right up!!

Any pics of the new project?

no pics yet, it was getting dark by the time i was done looking it over. i'm actualy kind of concerned about the mouse issue. the only upside to it being in the field is that it was parked about 100 yards from my sisters b/f's house. he kept the grass around it fairly trimmed, and has several cats. i'll get pics of it hopefully saturday.

my g/f wants to drive it, so i'll put in an f22b dohc for her and have it detailed. btw, if anyone is interested i'll have my 95 EG for sale soon so i can buy a cb9.

i will, i just talked to the guy and he's got a spare head he'd throw in for $100.

i hope this isn't to good to be true. deals like this seem like they've alway got some funk on it.

as long as he gives you the key and the title, i dont see how this could be anything less than a really good deal.

when i drive, im constantly glancing into peoples yards and driveways to see if they have any old abandoned CBs without plates

thanks, every dog has his day. mine was monday. i live in a small town of about 4,000, everyone knows my passion for hondas. if it's around or for sale i hear about it.

we have alot of ricer morons in town but i can think of 2 other true honda loyalist and both are very good buddies of mine. i own 4 hondas, my buddie bogie owns 2 99 si civ's 1 of them is a crvtec car w/ a slick custom fabbed and molded body kit w/ a hand made custom hood he built himself. i'm not a fan of kits and hoods, but what we like to do w/ motors and turbos and such he does w/ body work, and does it very well. so i give him props for that. my other buddy well, he's a little on the uncle bens side. but he's coming around.

so i got some bad news.

my sister called and asked me if i picked up the car. i have'nt yet. she tells me the car is gone. i freak out about it. wheres the car? my money? i can't get ahold of the seller who is the cousin of my sisters b/f. i call brian (sister bf) he tells me a tow truck hauled the car off last night, and his cousin left me the money i paid him for the car. telling me he's going to have the car fixed and sell it. instead of selling it to me. which is b.s. he called me a little bit ago and appoligized for giving me the run around. he did say if it would cost more than he could afford i've got 1st dibs. i'm not pissed because i kept the "too good to be true" thaught in my head so i'm not totaly let down

                            'eh what ever.
