The aspects of our lives and society provides endless things to wager on.
The biggest one being, will we destoy our own race?
On a smaller scale, they could bet on whether individuals will make certain decisions in life, such as successfully overcomming an addiction.

    Etc Etc.

Not that I believe any of this. But it is a possibility.
ive thought about a lot of things like that, but i was always on some type of drug

I believe life is about experiencing and learning as much as possible while you are still alive. To live every day as if it’s your last, seeing as how you can easily die in an instant, but at the same time making sure you develop as many skills as possible for the future. Learning never stops, neither does having fun.

      Work hard, Play hard.

To sum up my outlook, basically I am 18 years old, and about to leave for a mission for my church for two years. My outlook is much the same as According2Aaron's outlook and I see God as the way and the path to walk.
Having only been a religious person for four years, I can honestly say I have walked the darkest paths that a person can, and that I have now begun to walk those paths that are the paths that most people would call "unfun" or "stupid" to quote co-workers and friends.
I precariously express this opinion online, and only because it intrigues me that there is such an inherent repetition of religious and/or philosophical perspectives on the Off Topic thread section. I do not intend to offend anyone here, and hope that my comments will merely help Azul with her paper.
          Good Luck

it doesn't matter how old i'm i but to answer your question....i'm 24....still young but old enough.....lol....this is a project for college........nothing more nothing less...........i don't care it ppl see life as shitty...or great...or even no meaning.........its your life and it means something different to than the next person.....you live it the way you want......i'm not flaming the younger crowd...nor the older.....my teacher just wants a internet point of view......i find that the guys on this site got alot to say..(all the time).....and sometimes there comments have a point.....so i was hoping that....i can get that....(the good side of them...lol)...you feel what you say and you express it you way and i respect that............

well, I have no idea whats the answer to that question but I will definately try to live my life to the fullest while not stepping on too much toes but also keeping in mind that there is a GOD and he/she needs to be thanked/worship for giving me life to LIVE TO THE FULLEST. Living life to the fullest is a vague statement but evryone goes thru different or similar experiences in life so live as you wish but never forget that there is a BIG possibility of circumstances that follow your actions.

life for me = cars, work, weed, family, women and food.
i try to balance all these out with some success sometimes.
analizing the meaning of life isnt important to me. i feel our time is to short to worry about why im here? meaning of life? what happens after? etc.

i guess im a plain minded person with shallow opinion of self being.
