    Sprint IP Relay

Ok so me and some friends decided to mess around today with the sprint ip relay service.

For those of you who dont know what it is, it was basicly created for people who are hearing impared to call people on phones from a computer using text and the other person hearing voice. What the person on the computer does is type, and whatever they type, the operator has to say just as it was typed to him to the person that you are trying to communicate with.

Anyways we were bored so we just called up my buddys phone who was with us. We requested a male operator, and decided it would be funny to see if he would rap out a song that I typed out, so I did an old Easy E song, and after the lyrics I put (please rap).

The guy laughed and actually knew the song and rapped it out for us which was pretty funny because, its a real job as an operator for him to do it, and he was rapping.

We were really that bored and had him do it for a little bit longer, and I as a person on the computer said BRB, and the operator and my friend were talking backin fourth about where they think went "which they are not supposed to do because its kind of unprofessional"

After a while of a few jokes which honestly had the guy laughing still making it hard for him to read the things, he had another operator finish the call, and it was a woman who we decided not to bother because, it is their job and all and im sure they get tons of prank calls daily.

Later that night, some guy kept calling my friend "outside of work" each time from a different number, making threats saying that hes going to shut down his phone for making prank calls, "which come on seriously this guy is an operator and probly has no power over my friends non sprint phone" .

So after these calls were being made to my friend, the guy finally let my friend know who he was, and I KID YOU NOT. threatened to kill my friend, which i mean is probly nothing to worry about because this guy doesent know where we are located and probly isnt stupid enough to do something serious over a prank phone call WHICH I MIGHT ADD HAD THE GUY LAUGHING.

Maybe he is just trying to get back at my friend, but honestly making such threats to a person is NEVER acceptable.

    sorry for the long post.

I just thought this was weird enough to post for you guys.

fyi.. as long as the phone is on and has signal, an operator(if he has access) can tell within a half mile or less radius as to where you at..

you shouldn't be abusing resources that are provisioned for those with the actual need for it.

Lmao, I do that all the time! Sprint IP relay ftw!

Add this person to your buddy list "SprintIP" and they will do those pranks straight from IM. Makes it so much more easy lol.

Well I was kinda being sarcastic...but yeah, a prank every now and then doesn't hurt.

But, I call people I know...not random numbers.
