Turtles?

Yea, I know this is a strange topic lol. Does anyone know where to get those little tiny turtles? And what are they called? I'm talking about the little ones that are like maybe 2 inches wide. I tried to search the internet but it's hard because I have no idea what they are called lol.

Yeah the red ear sliders that you arent suppose to buy because they are the size of a quarter? i got 3 along time ago and only 1 survived. If you are seriously gona get one you need to learn about them. For each 1in of shell you need to provide them with 1 gallong of water. these little buggers get to be 8inches big and they grow fast.

I have one red ear slider. i got him when he was a wee little bugger. no they dont stay small. he's cool. but theres several types you can get, but RES are the most common and adaptable of the water turtles.

but learn about them first before you decide to have one. the death among small turtles is high which is why its technically illegal to sell them. but i bought mine at a local shop here and all they have you do is sign a thing that says its for educational purposes.

Turtle forums is a good place, they have lots of good info. and turtlepimp.com is an online site where you can purchase turtles through mail.
