what's up everyone?

well, i've finally updated the main page - with the help of an all new layout courtesy of skratch designs... which is my friend chris' webdesign company still in the works.

it's got an all new scrolling text feature, as well as a nice animated gif. looks real professional in my opinion... and matches nicely with the colors of the board.

i also did the same, forgot there was a main page, but it definetly looks good

only thing I would suggest... Where the scroll part is, I think the whole black area needs to show text. Like how the lower left corner is lower... it still needs to show text in that part, and also all the way up to the top. At the top, possibly fading out about 50% to share the effects w/the graphics at the top. Other than that I think it looks great.

yeah, i know what you mean... we left lots of extra black space there for future updates though...

i don't know... the idea of fading the scrolling text with the graphic is cool... but i also like how it's kinda contained in that box... like it's IT'S own little section and not part of the design or something, you know?

Off Color Suggestion:

I run a high resolution screen, and all the text on the website is in BOLD compared to other forums. Can we modernize the format for more freindly reading?

I realize you're running Vbulletin...I like phBPP personally.

im running 1280x1024, and this is what i see... looks like it does at school, at lower res... think its probly ur browser or windows appearance settings.
