Two students in Orange County, Fla., were arrested Wednesday after police said they stole a fanny pack with about $50,000 in cash inside from a parent visiting the school, according to police.

Investigators said a parent was wearing the fanny pack while registering his daughter for school at Colonial High School.

Police said two girls, ages 16 and 17, were arrested after the pack was reported missing. Police believe they somehow stole it from the parent.

Officers said they were able to recover about $15,000 in cash but the other $35,000 remained missing Wednesday night.

I didnt blame it on the victim. Honestly when I went to Japan I saw a crap load of tourists with them. Same as Taiwan. But they should know the risks of a fanny pack though really they aint hard to jack at all.
