    does your car behave odd?

ok just wondering cause my car seems to like have bad behavier somtimes. sometimes its smooth and runs and shifts awsome and then 20 min later its crappy. I've never seen anouther car do this before so I was wondering if its normal. btw I should note that it doesnt matter how hot or cold the engine is how long its been running or how hot or cold it is outside or how hard im drving it. it just randomly changes its behavior.

I can tell you in exact details what changes if you want

after i bought my car from atx, i made a comment to steve about how the car likes to do its own thing... he said "yes, yes, that car definately has a mind of its own."

ive noticed it do some strange things... like sitting at idle, itll idle perfectly for a while, wave +/- 50rpm for a bit, pop up by 500rpm and back down, and then settle and idle perfectly again.

yeah, my car likes to do this thing where the wheels will shake (like theyre gonna fall off, but theyre not, because everytime it does it, I pull over, and check the lugnuts, theyre always fine). but other times, it drives perfectly straight, with no problems at all.

I think its a combination of me needing to get an alignment, and shitty PA roads.

lol ok wierd i guess, my steering wheel starts vibrating randomly, you cant even feel my trans shift and then 30 min later its crappy then 10 min later its fine. most of the time when im at a light it doesnt vibrate or anythign then somtimes I stop and the car vibrates like crazy. but like I said theres no pattern or anything my car just feels like doign what it wants

Thats so wierd, my tempo used to do that. That exact same thing! I never did get it solved...

on the stairs, she grabs my arm, says whats up,
where you been, is something wrong?
i try to just smile, and say everything’s fine.

my grey sedan does that as well... somethings loose or off, maybe a balljoint or bushing or the alignment, and i think something sets it off and once it starts wobbling, it just wobbles back and forth until you slow it down/stop it. my grey car starts wobbling when im goign over bumps and stops once i let it "straighten out" again. im replacing the bad upper ball joints, putting new wheels/tires on, and getting an alignment. we will see if that helps...

My automatic is louddd... not from the exhaust, but up front. Its weird, the idle is where it needs to be and the timing is perfect, still loud. Might need valve adjustment or somethin...

My manual is quiet though. I can't even hear it idle at the light. Weird huh?

my car has a shitload of that.

-a CD player that skips over the littlest of bumps (go 1992 technology!! its not OEM either)
                            -that steering wheel wobbling
-rotors that magically warp themselves less than a month after I install them (yeah, sticky caliper I know, one side was glowing red, the other seemed pretty normal)
                            -needle-nosed pliers for temperature adjustments
-a hoodlatch that doesnt really like to hold the hood closed unless you really slam it.

theres more, I just dont feel like thinking about it, cuz that means Im gonna have to fix it eventually. I think the wobbling is a balljoint. they didnt seem to be in amazing condition when I did the rotors, and I cant even imagine what separating them from the knuckle will do. especially doing it as agressivly as I do to my car.
