    My new s13 project car...

Hey guys a lot of you might have noticed that i havent been on the forum lately, its because I got myself a new project car, its a 91 Nissan 240sx coupe, i got it form a guy down the street for 1200 bucks canadian, ya he needed the money so i hit the jackpot. Its a 5speed, 2.4 litre and its rear wheel drive with LSD. And let me tell you its a fun car to drive, i drift around corners and do burnouts all the time, it wasnt easy to learn but you get the hnag of it. The interior is black and grey leather, its got heads up display (where the speed is displayed on the window) and a sunroof, 4 wheel disk brakes, and its soooo low to the ground i feel like im getting into a ferrari..... let me know what you gusy think of it.....

thats my favorite 240sx ever. i was undecided for a while whether or not i wanted that or the cb7. obviously the cb7 won.

id take a 240sx 5spd coupe over a cb7 ANYDAY of the week. Rwd means so many things.... drifting, burnouts... im drooling just thinking about it. when kings blend decides to do a sr20det swap... you h22a owners will get a fascinating look of his car from the behind... no contest

hey guys thanks for the support, im not leaving the cb7 behind, its still in the family, my bro is gonna have it now, he likes the cb7. the s13 has 226xxx kilometers on it, but it runs like new, the underneath is good, except for a hole in the floor i made (long story) and theres some rust, its mostly surface rust, and the frame is solid, although i need to replace my motor mounts, when i turn the car on u can see the engine toggle side to side, and when u sit inside u see the shifter toggle, but as soon as i replace those itll be stiffer. there is some body rust, because the car sat for 8 months without him doing anything to it, i need to get started on the sanding and welding in my garage then im gonna paint it black again. my Motegis are going on it, perfect offset for it too, bcuz when i had them on my cb7 the wheels stuck out of the fender about half an inch, now they tuck under my fenders of the s13, im gonna get some eibachs and agx to lower it, strut bars, already got new tie rod ends, ball joints, and stabilizer rods, so as soon as the suspenison is done i can drift safely. oh and i already got some 300zx 4 piston calipers on the way, awesome stopping power. ill keep you guys updated on the project, i appreciate the encouragement as well.... and the sr20det isnt coming for a while......

Wow, VERY nice! I'd like a 240 myself... I still love the CB7 though, so that will never be replaced fully.

My only complaint about the 240 is that it's meant to be somewhat of a sports car... Modifying or making it fast isn't as satisfying to me because it's MEANT to be that way! Something like the CB7 is so far from a sports car that it's really cool to see one made into one.

I'd love to see a pic of the HUD. I've never seen one before!

Good luck with it. It should definitely be a good project! Seems like you have a nice start with a pretty solid car.

haha i was just about to post that, but damn i love the 240 coupe, yeah convert that beast into a silvia, get the front end conversion and then get the SR20DET, yes it is a smaller motor but still gotta love the boost.

i had a chance to get my hands on a 240, but it has a blown headgasket, bad valve cover gasket, oil everywhere, SMOKE here and there, so yeah it was a mellon, and then i came across the cb7. but in the near future i want to buy a s14 shell and build her from the ground up after i finish this project, which wont be anytime soon.

                            btw. love the sleepy eyes

That was a nice find! Looks pretty cherry. Those rearwheel drive Nissans are always fun.

Drop in a sr20 and swing the shit out of that thing!

Right down the street from my work there is a guy that has a red notchback just like yours. I'm so tempted to ask him if he would sell it. Theres only one problem though. I don't have any money! Besides if I did I would have to put it into my cb7.
