    300

I was just wondering if anyone else has seen the previews for this movie? This looks its gonna be the best movie of the year, well atleast to me, im not sure who is in to all into this genre, but i think it looks simply amazing. Also the cool fact is it is based on history, it seems pretty crazy that about 300 spartans and a few actors held off over 1,000,000 guys for 3 or so days. I highly suggest watching the trailer, Frank Miller does great work(Sin City) and the director did the remake of Dawn of the Dead, and i read its gory so that sounds about right. Ill post up some links to the trailers when i get off work, i just wanted to share and see what everyone else thinks of this movie.

Try in the range of 2,500,000 to 5,000,000 men! And it was about 1,500 Spartans, Thespians, and Greeks total. Wikipedia pwns ju!11!!1 Not really surprised though because it was a narrow ass pass, and the allied forces were VERY experienced in combat.

no read it again bud, they say 5 million was an exageration, and there was only 300 spartans, 1500 thespians, and 6000 or so greek backup, but the 6000 greeks were dismissed and the 300 spartans did most of the fighting. so wikapedia owns you.......

Wikipedia pwns me!! Haha, I just read it, I should have stated that it was really 200,000, lol! Oh yeah, and the Thespians stayed, so Wikipedia pwns us both!

However, a contingent of about 700 Thespians, led by general Demophilus, the son of Diadromes, refused to leave with the other Greeks.
