East Coast Meet In Spring...

I am willing to do the research and look for hotels, meeting spots, etc, in towns that people suggest. It seems that everyone is looking to drive atmost, 6-7 hours. Personally, it seems that VA is the most logical place to have it. I am not being biased, because I dont live in VA. But it seems smart that NC is too far south for some Northern people, and MD is too far north for our Southern folks. But I guess we can start this out by narrowing it down to what state we want it in. If the state youre voting for isnt shown in the poll, reply to the thread with your suggestion... After a few days and a state is chosen, I guess we can move on to Cities, etc.

I hope this is fine with everyone that Im starting this thread... I know the other one is there, but its getting long, and I just figured we could go ahead and start polling.

Suggestions? let me know.

Middle-Northern Virginia makes the most sense if you look at it geographically based where the people would come from. My opinion would be anywhere from DC-Charlottesville-Williamsburg-VA Beach.

i voted for virginia, no b/c i live here but it really is the best place geographically. It has some great roads, The parkway for one. And its about the middle of the east coast. If its possible we could have it in Roanoke which is right off I-81.

While a meet in New York would be good for the NORTHeast, were trying to get the SOUTHeast people to this meet as well. Which is the main reason I voted for Virginia. North Carolina is a bit far for alot of the Northeast people, and Maryland is a bit far for alot of the Southeast people. Virginia seems to be a fair compromise for both.

Va just seems to be in the middle of everything.

i would say maryland b/c this is praticly tuner central during the show year. but then again im not sure whats around. i havent been to baltimore yet or any of the other fun places like Ocean City.

but im up for Va.i think i know a few places tho.
