I like Rangers ALOT but this...this is an interesting blend..

The following image will shock you, the following images are from RangerPowerSports.com a forum that I also frequent nowadays...my heart literally dropped along with my jaw.

Its a rather interesting blend but I dunno its kinda iffy.

This guy is blending a 3,000 lb truck with an F20C motor, I swear to you guys I did a double take.

I kinda like it. I cant wait to see it finished. A crate 5.7 would have been more of the direction I would have headed in.

Yeah same here, but the popular route with these trucks (especially if its a 2wd) is the 5.o motor found in the Explorer, Mountaineer and Mustangs.

Id like a 5.0 in mine but its more complicated since its a 4WD truck

Everyone does those damn 5.0 swaps. Thats because its dirt cheap, and found in practically every Ford based vehicle that had a curb weight over 3200lbs. I'd love to see the 351 in a ranger. That would make all these new trucks look like they were standing still.

Only 200 lbs more than the S2000.

Can't forget the F-series trucks (mainly F-100's and F-150's) from around 1968 to about 1996.
