to be honest, I can say I have never done that... I honestly never overdrafted my account. I always try to keep $500 in my checking account at all times...Originally posted by MRXI hit $300 in overdraft fees about 2 weeks ago. Ruined my day and took christmas with it lol. i forgot about an automatic payment to one of my student loans. Didn't notice it was that far down. Called myself saving money by doing $2 and $3 purchases for lunch rather than buying it in bulk lol...yea...that went over wellOriginally posted by CustomLowzto be honest, I can say I have never done that... helps working at your own bank
but yeah i see people with CRAZY overdraft fees... they come in to deposit a $100 check, they ask for their balance, and i tell them its still negative by $450... they are like OMGRLY?!
i can udnerstand making a mistake and overdrafting (though ive never done it) but im so confused by the people who never come to the bank to deposit money for weeks at a time, but keep swiping their card at registers without ever checking their balance

All I have to say is, fuck Washington Mutual, and thank God for my new job. I haven't had any issues with overdraft fees since switching to BoA in April...but really that's just because I can spend well within my means now.

nah to avoid it.. always pay with debit..not credit if your card has that optionOriginally posted by DhNits the small bullshit that always gets you....
thats why i try to pay with cash as much as possible..only use my card for an online purchase...or when needed
i had overdraft protection.. but that shit only works if there is money in the other account like savings
yeah debit is the way to go
