what does everyone use nowadays?

i know that kazaa is being shut down or something... or at least i've been warned to not use it, because you can get in trouble or something? anyone know what's the story w/ kazaa?

if ur gonna use kazaa, make sure u get kazaa lite. but recently ive been downloading full cds from IRC.... download and install mIRC, go to http://www.ircspy.com/ and search for a cd u want. the site explains how it works, but u can get full albums off it, and the riaa isnt going after it.

i got caught for having austin powers on my computer...they didnt do ne thing, they just warned me. i use diet kazza...shouldnt all kazaas be the same, under the same server and stuff? they can still get ur IP especially if u have cable internet.

i havent downloaded in a long long time....

soulseek is the shit for getting full albums, i thnk its slsknet.org or something to that effect. And kazaa lite is good stuff, its kazaa without the spyware.

for anyone interested, try oldversion.com for kazaa lite, i haeard they are making sites stop letting people download it and are trying to make it outdated. Also, does that clean up kazaa work for later versions? I think they are on like 2.5 now and thats for 1.7.2. Just wondering.

yeah it does wokr for older versions, well at least the program that gets rid of kazaa and all its files, I just got rid of all mine, except for my shared folder with all my music.... just try it out

Cool, i would try it but i ditched kazaa a while back, kazaa lite is kazaa with the spyware already removed. It also allows you to get better searches and to get better downloading status as well.

klite is the best... I sometimes use Direct Connect, though it's such an outdated program now that no good hubs let you on. They all want DC++, but that doesn't seem to work fo rme

Anyway, I've been having good luck with Bit Torrent... It's quite different from any other method of file sharing. You can do a search on Google to learn about it, and then head to www.supernova.org to download. There's a fair amount of stuff to download there. Kinda like a web-based download site that allows you to link up with other people who are sharing ("seeding") files. Whole CDs, PSX games, PS2, XBox, GBA, PC games and software, Movies... Fun stuff!

BUT, I'm a good boy and buy anything that I actually like, so the RIAA can kiss my ass.
