    work & school

Just curious if anyone here is going to school fulltime and working fulltime? I feel like I don't have time to do shit, I leave at 6am, get a half hour lunch at work, then about a hour to eat and get to school, then i get home around 9-930. then I have homework, then i'm dead tired. if i try i can get 6 hours sleep MAX. and then it's the same shit the next day, anyone else doing this? i like that it's keeping me busy, helps keep my mind off other things i dont need to be thinking about. but at the same time i feel like i'm loosing touch with every other aspect of my life, i shouldn't even be on here right now, i have to finish my essay before i fall asleep.

i'm not tryin to bitch, just askin if any other people are doing this...i like that i'm bein active, but at the same time i feel scattered because i don't have time to sit and think about things.

take it one day at a time man. You gotta find something to take your mind off things.

        ...adjust accordingly

I decided to buy a house the same year I started at Rutgers. Yeah, that was fun. Can you study at your job? It helps!

Nope, I only go part time to school.

I work full time. In IT, on-call.
I am a graduate MBA student.
                  I am married.
                  I have a 3 week old son.
I also have MANY home "projects" I am responsible for.
These are reasons why it took me 3 months for an H22 swap.

If you're not married, then you aren't in bad shape(not bad shape regardless). The real drama and stress comes when you have others depending on you for income, support, and "quality time" to name a few.

Yeah, you probably think your life sucks. Keep everything in perspective along with the goal. You have no free time but DAILY I read about guys on this board that have no job and no real prospects on the horizon. Would you rather have that?
This won't go on forever for you and when you're done, you'll be in a better position. Remember this, if it was easy, everyone would do it.

You're doing fine. Keep things in perspective and stay the course. You've earned the right to bitch a bit.

I wouldn't change my situation for a second!

                  Good luck!

I am in the same boat you are in man... but I work two jobs instead of going to school...

Every morning I am up by 6am.. get ready for work and get my daughter ready to take her to the babysitter. Feed her breakfast and make my lunch. Then I drop her off and get to work around 7:45. I get a hour lunch and then i get out at 5pm.. From there I pick up my daughter take her home with my wife.. get dressed for my second job and stay at my other job until we are done loading and unloading trucks. (second job I work at a produce company). I usually get at 1 or 2 in the morning from there and then I start all over again. So I feel you man, and starting this weekend I will be working on sundays to unload trucks that come from mexico so I am definitely not going to have any time to relax.

So just cherish any time you have to relax and just chill. Trust me every little bit helps out man.

Its strange that someone made a thread about this because I feel so stress and like I'm going outta my mind. I do both, work from 8:30 - 5:00 , school from 5:30 - 11:30 with minimal sleep. It doesnt help to physically tired but menatlly awake after school which keeps me up until like 2:30am. I do this 4 days a week (mon-thur) and its hard to perform to your best at school and work when you are always tired. Been doing this for 5 months but I hope this gets easier.
