i woke up this morning to see in my e-mail a receipt for payment via PayPal. now, the last time i used PayPal was on the 22nd, and it was a $30.00 transaction to an online game. i click on the e-mail sent today at 7am and what do i see? a transaction for over $300+ for an Autism stroller. WTF? could this be a fake e-mail, even though the e-mail address is the same as the official PayPal ones (service@paypal.com)?
A) i've never visited a site for Autism
B) no one has access to my PayPal
C) the shipping address is not one of my confirmed shipping addresses, in fact it's to some prick in South Carolina
D) i don't even have $300 in my debit account
E) it hasn't shown up on my PayPal history yet, or my bank statement online
hypothetically speaking, if this does get billed to me, is there a way i can dispute it?
