Everytime I get out of my car in the winter time I get shocked pretty hard. I even shocked my gf once on the nose when I hugged her and it hurt. Does anyone know why this happens? Can I have a bad ground somewhere or is it normal?

its normal in the winter because of the colder/drier air.. you build up the static electricity from rubbing against the seat getting in and out of the car.. -
i get this too, but moreso when i raise the volume on my radio for a long period of time. i've gotten used to it

My wife and I get zapped every time we get out of our car. I try not to touch the door. I push the window to close the door.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Comment
