Damn, I play that a lot. Every now and then I turn off the driving aids and try to do that and it just doesn't look as pretty.

        haha nicely done.

you need to try gran turismo HD concept for ps3 though. there is a drift mode where you earn points based on the speed/angle of your drift.

I was never able to get good at it in gt4, but I was trying to do faint drifting, not ebrake.

on the stairs, she grabs my arm, says whats up,
where you been, is something wrong?
i try to just smile, and say everything’s fine.

yeah well it all depends on the settings i have in the car... i use my skyline to drift with the ebrake cus it has too much power... but when i use the evo its alot easier to do faint drifting... and it also depends on how fast ur hitting the turn

What settings should you use? Slammed suspension with firm settings? I turn off all the driver assist things. How about spoiler downforce or sway bar settings? Also I use the wheel.

It's been awhile since I've played, I have a bunch though. Several 86's, one is the shuichi shigeno version

I have a couple subarus, a bitchin evo, a skyline

pretty much all cars are maxed out.

I think my problem is I can't drive counter-intuitively. When I start to loose control I automatically try to regain instead of staying sideways. After putting all that effort into serious races I have a hard time breaking from it.

Then again, I have a very hard time doing dirt rally races too. But in gt3 I was great at it. I think (actually I'm sure) its because of the gt3 wheel versus the gt4 wheel. With the gt3's limited range of motion, controlling a drift is easier versus the gt4 wheel, where you have to constantly throw the wheel 150-200 degrees. With the gt3 wheel you just have to move it 4 inches to get the same result.

Have you tried gt4 (with the gt4 wheel)?
