Well I have been modding my computer a bit

AMD 3300 64 bit processor



Stock




Green led fans-need to be installed

1gb ram upgrade- ordered

blacklight tubes-installed

Plexiglass sides-Need to make

Front panel-Need to order

M-Audio sound card-need to order

20" monitor-need to order

well heres a pic of it as it sits right now I still have alot of polishing to do and need to paint the top part and get a new front panel

omg computer rice. jk dude, I personally dont like neons on computers (why make the inside of a computer HOTTER?) but its cool. if those are cathodes, then i guess its better, but yeah, making the inside of a computer hotter isnt cool at all.

are you gonna run vista on that box?

Neons don't really get all that hot. I've had neons and LED fans running through my desktop for awhile, and it never overheats.

every single neon tube (usually signs) ive ever put my hand near has been at least 100 degrees. or at least felt like it.

I don't like lights on computers but I won't hate on them, I just don't want them on my computer. Sucks the antec fans I bought have them by default. Had no choice. I'm hoping to cut the wire to the lights though.

Does your computer take 3200 ddr sdram? I coulda sold you a matched set of 2 gig sticks from corsair if you do. I have some parts from my old computer I want to sell.

led lights dont heat your computer up that much at all and the extra cooling will take care of that I wanted to go water cooled but just not worth it

here's mine (really my sister's but i need a comp at school for right now).


ive removed the front port (usb, firewire, headphones) and made a block-off plate out of carbon fiber, polished the side panel and expansion slot covers, painted the face plate black, installed a red LED strip, and stealthed the front drive with carbon fiber. im done with this case, as i am in a no-cost case-mod competetion and i will be putting the guts of this one into this:

its a security camera dome that i got from my grandpa when he passed away. the base will be made of mdf and fiberglass, and the blue trim on it will be lightly frosted plexiglass. the base will aslo support my 15" monitor.

im trying to setup a core duo in my modded blue case right now.

it has bios issues and is getting updated at fry's because i bitched them out. anywhoo, my first intel setup since our 700mhx P3.

gonna replace that with a celeron D 3.2 and move the Core duo to a micro case so that i can bring it to lan parties bitches.
