It's an SQL error... something I know nothing about. It will be upgraded and fixed eventually, but at the moment, optimizing the forums helps. I haven't done it in a while, so I just did it. We should be good for some time now. I need to do that more regularly!
I've never seen the forums go down for more than 15 minutes at a time. It's a pain when you're doing something, but it's not terrible. We'll fix it, though. I'll need Mike and Eric to help me though (read: do it for me
