    too bad honda is dropping the accord hybrid for 2008, and 2009 its going diesel

      yes, but the Fit and Civic are getting redesigned for even greater fuel economy.

              Whats funny is that they say the accord v6 hybrid had better acceleration than the standard v6

              O yeah the caddy cts comes manual too. That thing is reeeeaaaal nice... Too bad i hate american cars. Their designs and styles are too bleh

                why is that funny? The electric motor gives it a super flat torque curve, and acceleration follows your torque curve

                  Well i thought it was strange because the drawbacks with hybrids had usually, i guess up until now, have been lackluster power and acceleration although substantially improved fuel economy.

                    the cts-v comes in manual.

                    the xlr-v has a hydra-matic 6L80 six-speed automatic transmission, and the sts-v comes in manu-matic transmission

                      So they dont make the base model cts in standard because i dont think the cts i rode in was the spec v

                          if done right, hybrid/electric is one of the quickest ways to get from 0-60. you can precisely computer-limit the torque to the coeffecient of grip of the tires and the concrete so you have a perfect launch every time with max torque that you can actually use at that given moment. it would take a lot of calculations, but its doable.

                              i agree electric is one quickest just not efficent.. just remember back to slot cars and the principle is the same through the scales.
