no, i think it's some sensor microchip...something that has to do with the keys and stealing it, i'd assume.

on some 92-93 accords, the keys have a button on them. The little "camera" thing you see there is a sensor that corresponds with that button on the key. you hit the button and it unlocks the doors. My moms 92 Ex wagon has it. they no longer work, but thats what it is...

its an infrared OEM keyless entry. ive seen a number of them, most commonly on EX wagons from what ive seen. 93accordEX has it on his wagon. theres also a sensor in the taillight.



and i think i agree, coupe power folds are extremely rare... even the "rare" jdm parts are more common than them...
