My mom got pulled over for speeding. There were four other cars there getting ticketted too. Now here's what I noticed when she showed me the ticket; the cop wrote down the wrong info on my mom's ticket; his dumbass got it confused with another car that was pulled over. My mom drives a Lexus, but the cop wrote the vehicle as a BMW 4 door and wrote down the wrong tag and stuff. The ticket is for 51 on a 35. She said that there was no way that she was going that fast, and knowing my mom, i believe her. She barely goes 5-over, and very very rarely goes 10-over. Can this be fought in court? Because clearly, the ticket is for a different car.

make a court date.. take a picture(s) of the car in, along with registration.
but to be safe i'd make a date, then extend the court date further out as far as u can.
i say this cus, once i got a redlight ticket(i was pissed cus i didn't even run a red light) he had, me plus 3 other cars pulled over. He then gave me a ticket and it stated that my car was a 4-door(i obviously drive a coupe). I still lost, because the judge.. litterally said, "everyone does a roll on that corner" WTF is that?!?! . .
