Do you miss your stereo?

Has anyone had a really nice audio setup and sold it for whatever reason? If so do you miss your stereo system or is a decent h/u and some good speakers good enough for you? Or do you miss your amps and subs and quality head unit? I'm debating whether or not to sell my audio setup. I have a 7" Alpine flip out dvd/screen head unit, 2 Alpine amps and 2 Alpine 10" subs and I like my music, but I'm debating whether or not to sell it for some extra money and just leave myself with a good h/u and my speakers.
Pros of selling: Money, weight reduction because of the enclosure in my trunk it weighs quite a bit
Cons of selling: Well I cant pump my music with lots of bass

Any opinions from people who have sold their audio setups, do you regret it or not?

I had a sub and an amp, and it made some serious bass. But I got out of it, and now I am done with it. I sold it last week, and don't regret it one bit. Plus I get all that trunk space back.

I sold my first system, but after riding in other cars with it I missed mine and ended up getting another louder one

I sold my subs and amp....more out of necessity than because I wanted too...but I really only miss it when I hear someone with subs or my sisters boyfriend comes over with his subs....you can always just go down to one sub and amp.

I never sold my stuff to sell it, I always sold to upgrade. I normally take out my sub every now and then. Well I took it out yesterday, for the reason is sub too powerful for the enclosure it was in.

i was into car audio before i was into cars. i let my stepbro borrow my sub and he broke it. i eventually got a truck and thought i couldnt have a system until i couldnt take it anymore and bought one. im a lot happier now. but i need a new box.

I love bass and can't live without it.

Yeah I do know what you mean, plus having all the stereo equipment is like candy to thieves

very true. What I do is , I don't pump out on my area. Once I am out of the area that's the time I crank it out.

hehe..my stereo was bad ass. check my MRT ...

but i stripped my car..and ahve been rollin with no sound... i like it like that.. it makes me appreciate music sometimes...

i do miss it.. but i like my acceleration and the sound of my engine better

I used to have a stereo. The water got in my trunk, fried my amp, and rendered it useless. That was about 3 years ago. I don't miss it. It let me get very familiar with my car, and helped me pay better attention to driving.

Plus running an H22 to redline beats music.
