    so i started my new job today

    Doing sheet metal roofing again, start out at $12 an hour, get to get a nice tan, and best thing like 10 of my buddies work there,all the dudes i party with are there so its pretty tight. one of my buddies has only worked there a year and is already a foreman making $18 an hour. plus we get mad overtime if we want it.

    havent been on a big roof for a while, i got kinda dizzy today when i got to the top of a building and looked down. but by the end of the day i was good.

    that shit is harsh in the south.........100 degrees or hotter on the roof about half the year......how bad is it where you're at?

    i guess fighting the cold would be more of the issue most of the time, wouldn't it?

    congrats though.
    ....and on the 7th day, deevergote rested and called his mom.

          tomorrow its supposed to be 100+ degrees, today was about 90. wednesday i think its gonna be 104 i heard.

            good shit meng, i only get paid around 8 bucks for my machine work.

            we charge 90 dollars labor, i only see ~10% of it...awesome.

                Only $12/hr for roofing? I suppose pay is higher in my area, since the cost of living is pretty high. Roofing has always been considered hot and hard work, but as far as I know, it pays pretty well.
                Regardless, $12/hr isn't bad... you can get by on that. It's honest work, and it's experience.
