bullshit ticket

went to go get somehing to eat and i accidentally chirpped my tires going to 2nd. the next thing i know about a mile down the road a county officer come flying up behind me. cuts on the lights. so i pull over. (keep in mind that i wasnt speeding or anything only a small chirp going into second) then he gets on the loud speaker and says "turn off the car and hold the keys out the window". so im looking around like who is he talking to. so i turned the car off and held the keys out the window. then he comes up to me and asked me if i knew i chirped my tires down the road. i said i knew i did. i honestly said yeah. he asked me why i did it. i told him i didnt mean to and i had new tires that they chirp real easy. then he told me how i was lying and that depending on what i told him is what he will write me a ticket for. so i got a little loud with him and made sure he knew that i actually didnt mean to do it. so he asked me for my liscense and registration and all that shit. then i didnt have my current insurance card. the old one expired like days ago. but he didnt make a big deal about that.

when he came back to the car he gave me back my stuff and game me a ticket for the maximum fine for negligent driving $ 1,088 and 4 points.

Yep they can give you a ticket for chirping tires but never heard of a find that high for it lol. Usually its just for reckless driving.

what is there to fight? he's got you on record admitting to doing it and it's totally up to the judge what he wants to fine you. if you look like someone he likes, he'll take it easy, if you don't, he'll go after you.

never admit to anything and the best thing is to simply say only what is 100% necessary. the more you say, the better it is for them. that's how the legal system works.

when it was all said and done, i had a few scars, they had a few scars and that was that.

well as some of you might know my dad is a state trooper. i called him today and he knows the judge that i am suppost to see and he said he is coming to town tomorrow and he will talk to the judge. so i guess i will have to see how that goes...

you accidentalyl chirped second. i mean shit, i dont have floor mats in my cb (hell no carpet either now) and that rubber pad thats under your floor mats? when i put my clutch in, my foot hits that rubber pad, so sometimes i cnat just letit out slow, i try to, but my foot gets stuck so i have to unwedge my foot, and yeah, sometimes it accidentally engages the clutch really fast and i chirp em. it happens.


again, its not like you took off "slow and curious" style it was an honest mistake. shit old men that still try to drive stick do it all the time. it happens. and ur dad being a statey will probably help, as he knows the judge very well.
