I have alot of thoughts I want to put into this subject, but I don't really have the time to sit and write them all out now. For now I will keep it short and share a couple links I've come accross recently...

convince enough people that their God is telling them to do something and they will do anything.

Told to do so or not, it doesn't explain or excuse such actions(not saying you meant it like that). The video made the point of Iraqi citizens needing to rebel against their own ignorant neighbors very blunt which I liked. I know if my country were in a period of war and a fellow citizen of mine was planning some type of destruction against a group whose purpose in their presence was to help me, I'd shoot his ass in a heartbeat. And then I'd give that nice country who came to help me some oil. JK.
