One week ago i got word from a coworker that our buddy that we knew from school got killed on a motor cycle accident. He was a very nice person, loyal and had very good work ethic.he was only 19.his only stupid mistake was running away from the popos.he didnt have platyes and when he saw teh sirens he was gone.they found his remains under a van.
I just got a pfone call from my cousing in greece informing me two of my buddies along with some other kid i dont know where killed when my good friend lost control of teh bike.the other kid is injured criticaly.they where all riding on one bike.i believe it was an 800.
this blows, 3 friends died with in one week.it seriously just sux.
i was saving for a crotch rocket next summer, but i'm considering investing somewhere.i hate bikes right now.

i mean i wasnt really close with them but still thats 3 ppl that i knew that are no longer alive...thinking about their families makes me sick.
, but stuff like that happens all the time tho'. Even though the cases above don't directly relate to the statistics.... 90 or so% of all motorcycle accidents are normally the fault of someone else (another driver not paying attention) it still sucks. I'm sorry, no disrespect meant, but it sounds like the situations stated above were due to inexperience. Personally, I strongly feel that every rider should go to a riders course (beginners and advanced). I thought I knew how to ride till' I went to those courses,
I didn't know squat. I been riding for 7yrs strong now and I can honestly say I learn something new everyday. Think about it before you purchase a bike and if you never ridden remember "fast is not always good". I'm a 140lbs and I got a gsxr600, I kill others riders in the turns everyday plus I can do all the same b/s they can do. Get a motorcycle that is correct to your skill level 600, 750, or 1000. Don't just jump on a 1000 or 750cc bike if you've just got your liscense. Take it for what it's worth, but that's just my 2 cents!
