I've been following workouts from this website:

I've gone through a chest/triceps and a back/biceps day with squats on the chest day and deadlifts on the back day... my whole body is wildly sore, and I only did about 4-5 exercises each day. In college I would do like 8-9 exercises, sometimes doing all muscle groups together... I got mass eventually, but I think this new method is much more effective.

From what I'm reading, if you go in, lift big, keep good form, etc. you don't have to be at the gym 8 days a week, 20 hours a day.

at the weightroom i work at we have these workouts called chest of death, back of death an so on for every body part. they run off of a stack of cards break them down into 5 stacks. four stacks of 11 cards an one stack will be 10 cards that is 5 exercises an you just filp the card an get

        face cards-10reps
        aces-15reps
        jokers-100reps
        2-25reps
        5-50reps

we have like 3 different decks
the deck of death that adds up to 1,000
the regular deck adds up to 568
the dum-dum deck adds up to 2,000
they can be used for the stuff listed above or pushups

these workouts kick ass an will leave your ass broke i do 3 of them a week it really falls under endurance stuff but i like having the best of both worlds cause i can benchpress 455 so it hasnt hurt me but i will get some of the workouts an post them on here for anybody that would like to try them

20 mins in the gym is not long enough for me most times i find myself working out for a hour or a hour an half my routine on a normal week would be something like this its really hard to follow a set routine so i do whatever i feel like working only thing i do twice a week is flat bench work

monday-chest/cardio at the end of my workout
            tuesday-arms(biceps&triceps)
wednesday-shoulders/cardio at the end of my workout
            thursday-back(heavy deadlifts shit like that
            friday-legs/light chest/cardio

i do lots an lots of benching with boards an chains an rubberbands
