    Envy This!

    I just picked up a remote from dude local for $15, came with a proprietory IR reciever. It has pre-made plugins for PowerDVD and Winamp. You can control the mouse, and anything else you wish. It was difficult finding the software, but after a couple hours of tinkering, it's bomb diggity.

    BTW: I run my TV and home stereo off my laptop, so this thing rocks the shiznit!

                The geek thread happened a while back... there are tons of guys on here who have built their own computers and stuff (me and cpmike for instance...)

                I guess it's not a very far cry from computer geek to car geek! (btw, my favorite toy is my custom black cased, backlit original gameboy advance... with a 256mb cartridge that allows me to play downloaded games... I don't actually own a single GBA game )
