I just told my girl that I had a dream that we had a little boy....as the conversation went a little deeper she told me that she's wanted to get pregnant for some time now but never mentioned it to me I dont know how to feel because the last time we talked about this stuff she said no kids until she finished school and secure in her career. She is close but not quite there yet so I dont know. I love kids and wouldnt mind having one but I dont think I'm ready for that type of stress yet.

It's a bit of a shocker isn't it? Kids are great. I have 2 boys (13 & 8). I just wish I had the job first before the kids, not after.

Have her finish school (so it doesn't end up a lower priority). Then afterwards maybe start talking about family.
