I wondered why your sig picture was hosted on a marine and environmental consulting website. So i did some snooping around.

I don't mind SRT-4's.....I love their powerband, and internal strength.

This is the 2JZ of 4 bangers....no doubt.

I honestly like the way they look.....lowered with a big front mount....no wing. yeah that's the right stuff.

I'd much rather have an EVO for the handling abilites, that you wont get out of an SRT-4, or many cars for that matter...but for the price, there's very little that comes close to the reliability and ability of an SRT-4.

BUT they do run too rich, stock....and get mediocre gas mileage. A Corvette gets better gas mileage. Food fer thought.

not alot of people test out the evos capablities i prefer a challenge with my own skills. I like how i pull on evo's and sti's on the highway after 60mph they are out of breath. AWD good from a dig i give that after that heh its a wrap for them.

That's fine and all, but what I don't get is why you're still here trying to explain to us about a piece of junk while sporting a sig pic that's not even yours? Where is YOUR car? And for those of us that don't know about SRT-4, we probably just don't care enough to read about a fast Neon..

If you're trying to say that a stock SRT-4 is faster than our cars, then well...I think everyone knows that already..It's a given fact, even before you started blabbering about it..What I still don't get is why you're still here when you clearly stated that you've moved on..Just to prove a point that's already been proven? Or you're hoping to convince us to also 'move on' from this site and get an SRT-4?

I for one am not a fan of the SRT-4, or any Dodge for that matter..Fast means nothing, especially on a straight line, and it looks like that's the only thing you get from an SRT-4..What more is there to say? If you want to be a man of your words, do what you said in your sig and GTFO...If you want to stick around and post more crap about how 'good' SRT-4 is, then delete that sentence in your sig and post up a pic of your own mighty SRT-4, so at least you won't be making a fool out of yourself

anyways. mike. i give the SRT4 props for pulling on STi's and Evos on the highway but if you race a properly tuned Evo or STi i doubt youll be able to pull b/c im sure the owner will make sure that they tune their ECU and get a turbo that will utilize the upper power band. im sure if i were to get an Evo , id make sure my car pulls to redline. having the boost drop off before then wouldnt be all that fun. its like having an H22 and have the power drop off before redline. no fun.

with the right tune and turbo, i doubt the SRT-4 will hold up against the Evo in the top-end. hang maybe. but beat? no.

im not even worried weither or not he has an SRT-4. he's having a good car talk with us. none of us that he's talking have questioned if he has one. we've just been talking about cars.

as far as the sig? i agree. mike, if your really done with this site then leave. if not and you still enjoy the tech talk then take that out of your sig. but as far as the car not being his? who cares if its not his. there are plenty of people have cars in their sig that aint theirs. RX-7s, Supras, S15's, Skylines ect. who cares. its a sig. the pics dont have to be true.

if you cant enjoy the tech talk on which car is better(which im finding very entertaining and test my knowledge of cars) then dont read the thread. its that simple.

yeah. but its just like the muscle cars of back then. it has no handling capabilities. sure it'll beat an Evo or STi in a straightaway but think about it: what if it tried to turn? who would have to slow down more? who could make it out of that corner faster? if a straightaway came up real quick then, the SRT-4 would pwn, but it would be fun to see a GT-R come in a beat all of them. lmao.

thats kinda a reason why id never buy a Supra. yeah sure they're EVIL monsters at getting down the track and 500+whp ona stock bottom end would kill anything. but it has no handling. that boost wont even kick in til like 4 or 5,oooRPMs when an Evo or STi's boost kicks in WAY before that. those 2 huge turbos are good for that top-end but murders its acceleration. it has to rely on the tuning(with the exception of the turbo) like the exhaust, intake, cams, and traction to get it up there.

oh heck yeah, read my post above, I'd totally pick an EVO most over many cars, strictly for their handling abilities.

BUT a BPU++ Supra can make around 480-500rwhp and spool up in no time...Talk about over engineering.

I was actually going to buy an older Impreza RS for it's all wheel drive drivetrain, but shifted to an AWD Talon for it's handling properties. Both cars awesome in their own respects, but just like my women, I love taking on curves
