    best driving experience

i just got back from what may be one of my best driving experiences ever. it lasted between 1:00-1:30am, on a road called Guelph line (some of the ontario ppl here might know the road im talking about) it is a nicely paved road with lots of twisties (some pretty sharp banked corners even) and a few nice smooth straightaways. like i said it was the middle of the night, and due to a cloudy night it was very dark. there were patches of fog all over that looked amazing as my highbeams cut through them. i had my music blasting, and the windows down and sunroof open which felt great cuz it was a cool night, but nice. the best thing was the lightning that illuminated the sky BRIGHT blue every 30 seconds or so, but it was dry as a bone, not even a drop of rain. i pounded thru the twisties and everything felt perfect. my baby was hugging the road solid, VTEC was hitting hard, and i swear to god i used like NO gas... everything felt so good, and i didnt want it to end. when i finally hit Dundas (i was coming from waterloo and was on guelph line between 401 -> dundas ) i felt happy. no, more like satisfied. made me remember why i loved my car and driving her so much, and why i built her to be what she is today. i love moments like that when everything seems right. ive probly bored all of you off your asses, but its now 3:23am and i decided to share something that made me happy
    MEMBER'S RIDE

i was driving along today and the check engine light came on.
i pulled over and looked under the hood.
    the engine was still there...
    ...silly light!

I know exactly what your talking about. It's that moment when your mind lets go and says 'fuck everything else' and you feel great. Thats an experience everyone should go through once in their life. I drive up to Mulholland near PCH, clench my fists, & let everything go.

dang, we had a time like that. If you take the road that comes out of Chicago to the North. The one by the water.. Anyways, I can remember what this road was called that turned off of it, pretty much we were going north keeping by the water. There was this road that was perfect... i mean PERFECT...newly paved, twistites of all sorts, nice area.. The only problem was that there were bikers like crazy(road racing bicycles), so you had to be careful. I cant find very many roads that are fun in Florida. Especially where I am at, if you are under 25...cops will give you a ticket for smiling wrong. so they wouldnt deal with "spirited driving" very well.
