Here is my list of mainstream songs that I think are becoming played out now.

4. Hurricane Chris - A Bay Bay

6. Huey - Pop, Lock & Drop It

Do you guys think these songs are played out from extensive airplay? I hear them EVERY DAY. What about any of you? Give me your honest opinion.

Also, if anybody has any underground artists that they enjoy listening to, post up here.

Same here. I can tolerate some Paul Wall, Three 6 Mafia, T.I. and old school Outkast (Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik). I listen to 88.5 WRAS here in Lithonia, GA. They play a WIDE variety of music from classical, jazz, soundtrack, spoken word poetry to underground hip-hop and even instrumental hip-hop. The show is called Hush-Hush (Instrumental Hip-Hop). Very cool way to chillout with some hip-hop without mainstream rap in the mix.

All the songs listed in post 1 suck. Thats why you feel they're played out. They're garbage. The only good song on there is "Buy You a Drank." Most new rap sucks period. 50's new cd sucks, swiss beats sucks period, kia shine sucks, hurricane chris sucks, pretty much everything out there sucks right now.

I guess artists are looking for something that hasn't been done yet, but it just doesn't work for me. Some cd's I'd actually buy right now are:

Anything by Lil' Wayne
Kanye's new cd
Young Joc (not the greatest but its better then the trendy ay bay bay type shit)
Akon's shit has been pretty good
Gotta give it to Chris Brown, even though I wouldn't buy his CD he's comin up

I gotta admit, IMO Justin Timberlakes shit is WAYYYYY harder then most of these rappers nowadays, I'd buy his cd before I'd buy hurricane chris, etc.
