I wouldnt worry about h2o cooling with that. maybe bigger/better cpu cooler. You CAN h2o cool, but for the money, you wont see any gains. You'll get more life out of your parts, but... idk if its worth it :P

I'm looking to h2o cool my next rig. I love the shuttle cases, but the lack of space is tough for h2o cooling. i'll try some crazy setup :P

I used to use the thermaltake cheapo water cooling system, it didn't really help that much and it started shaking itself to pieces after about 3 months

I still have it in a box somewhere, but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who doesn't keep a good eye on their pc and what its doing.

Stick with AMD. I just ran a performance test on a 3ghz intel vs. my 2ghz AMD and the intel was a piece of crap compared to it. Everytime I've attempted to go intel, I end up getting rid of the crap and getting a good ol AMD instead.

Iv been hearing that, thats why I want to try the intel setup im sry I ment to say the E6750 because it has the 1333fsb were the 6600 only has the 1066fsb

Either the Intel E6750 witch performance at stock speeds are almost equal to the new AM2 socket AMD 6000+

So its either with the 6000+ or the E6750...The reason I want the E6750 is the overclock capability witch would eat up the 6000+

microsoft supports anything that you can buy in the store.

and i think thats the draw of it.

i use it because its what i know best, i grew up while windows was developing. im a programmer and can get around linux fine, but i prefer a windows box... my only complaint is that windows is losing all of its command and low-level focus on the hardware, seems like they are always trying to catch up with macintosh (whom i despise) in the race to making everything painless, automatic, smoothed, and glossed over. its only a matter of time before i switch over to *nix.

p.s. IIS is terrible, i use apache in windows. while still ported slightly quirkily, its definitely superior.

maybe, but in 2 months when you're looking to get the Intel stuff, the quad-core AMD's will be out and once again, will run circles around Intel

I agree with pretty much everything you said. Biggest difference between IIS & Apache is that IIS (at least the version included with windows) is meant for a single site and for those who do not know how to set up a server. Apache is for as many sites as you want and is for those who know how to configure it.

I had a gripe against MS getting away from the low-level focus as you put it and stopped using it altogether for about a year. Got along just fine but in reality windows is not that bad and I reinstalled it w/dual boot option so I have a choice when I boot up. I've gotten most windows programs to work under linux except for a few and with the exception f a few programs, there's usually a decent linux alternative. BTW, Beryl make vista's eye candy look like crap

How can you say the new AMD quad cores will run circles around the quad core intels when AMD cant overclock for a shit witout raising the voltage witch puts a big strain on the lifespan.Sure AMD's usualyy eat up intels at there stock speeds but you can overlock the an Intel 6750 at 2.6ghz to 3.2ghz just upping the fsb on stock voltage and with air cooling. And the Intels new p35 northbridge.

Iv used AMD all my life in many builds but the facts are right now that intel will eat up AMD.At stock speeds the AMD 6000+ just barley beats the Intel 6750 in bnchmark scores. But the second you overclock the intel the AMD has no chance what so ever.Even overcloking the 6000+ against an overclocked 6750.

AMD is great and all but right now INtEL is faster....Even when AMD comes out with there quad cores there will be alot of bugs were as intel already has most of them worked out.And for those who didn't know Intel has been experimenting with 8 core cpu's already and actually have an 80 core processor only problem with that processor right now is getting it to use memory.Go read and learn. If you dont believe me go ask some professionals.
