This game actually looks good this time around. Doesn't seem like it's all about how much 'ricey' shit you can throw on your car like the older NFS games.

I've been keeping an eye on this for a while now. There's a lot of customization, and when you change your car's appearance with wings and kits and all (using the autosculpt feature like in NFS: Carbon), it actually affects your downforce and drag. You can also customize things like brake bias, compression and rebound rates for shocks, etc. They've said several times they're trying to steer clear of the ricer scene (like the recent NFS games), and are aiming more for Gran Turismo...except with a drift mode. I'm really excited to see how it turns out. Looks like a great selection of cars too...I've seen BMW's and Porsches in the screenshots and trailers already (although I suppose even Most Wanted had those), in addition to the obvious Japanese cars, and the muscle cars from Carbon. BTW, did carbon have a decent selection of Euro cars? I know it had an "exotic" category, but I haven't played it much, so I didn't see what all was listed under that.

yeah they had the shelby, old gto, newer mustangs, i think they had a rousch in their too

but i love how authentic the driving was, WAY better than most wanted, especially on the hills
