My Eid celebration piktars (56k forgive me)

Well, here are some pics that i would like to share with u guys.

My Eid celebrations here in Malaysia.

Ate a lot of good food, met relatives, and the kids got lots of money LOL.

First up, my family picture in the morning before going off for prayer


then, after prayer, we went to my late grandfathers house where all of our cousins and siblings wud congregate. more piktars of them (and me)
it sucks to be too tall, my head usually gets cutoff in pics


then we ate!

ketupat (rice packed in a hand-weaved coconut leaf bag)



and eaten with kuah lodeh (my sis getting funny)


and with some side dishes

rendang (beef/mutton/chicken in a thick spicy gravy)


and some sambal goreng (fried vegetables and some magic)

then after eating we went to visit the cemetary, the graves of my grandpa, grandma and my baby sister

after that we went to my uncles house


ate more food and went to other houses. and my cam batt died

this is arisa (mutton/beef paste marinated in spices, eaten with hot sauce and honey)





so that was my Eid celebrations this year (that was only the first day, many more days to come)

It was real good.

On the way to the prayers it was raining like crazy, couldn't see anything in front of us. But we managed to get there safely.

I ate so much, and got a lot of money.

I know nothing of the traditions involved... but that food looks SOOO good!
