yep.. i was asking for some clarification from the OP as he said that the replica's were to be made like OEM and believed it to be made of fiberglass+rubber as opposed to the fact that it is actually 100% made of urethane/rubber.

i am wondering as well. for the asking price, a light, hard, hollow fiberglass shell stuck on with tape is VERY different than the heavy, solid, flexible, bolt-on OEM flushmount.

ive never heard of this "fiberglass covered in rubbber" method before. also, the OEM flushmount has specifically placed studs embedded into the urethane - not as easy to do with a fiberglass shell... so: studs, or tape?

Those are great questions mike but the guy assured me its gonna look and feel just like the originals...They are also gonna have the studs...
