It happened so quick.

I CRASHED MY CB7

I was waiting at a red light, it changed green, so i accelerated. I must have hit around 35mph, hit some very nasty bumps which sent my car flying -- yes all 4 wheels off the ground. When it hit, i lost control, swerved and was drifting. I had a pickup truck in front, a car in back and my car was starting to lean like it was going to go into incoming traffic. I cut the wheel all the way to the right, tapped the brake and the car went to the right. I jumped the curb, missed a tree by 1-2inches, missed a pedestrian by 1ft and hit a fence. I had knocked down 2 poles of the fence and one of the poles was wedge on my front right tire.

the Damage: Messed up front right tire and my hood is slightly messed up. I will get pics up. No bumper damage or any damage anywhere else.

Considering what could have happened, i'm lucky.
I guess is time to write to the state to fix that damn road.

picture this:

speed bumps but instead of going _/¯¯\_ they were going inversed on a major cross road about 5 of them... i guess is the mark from the weight of trucks cuz they are all over the Long Island Expressway (LIE)

Damn, that sucks!


What suspension do you have? Blown shocks or too stiff of a suspension will cause such an easy loss of control over bumps like that.

i guess they are humps, cuz bumps are above ground.

i got pics on my cell, I'll use the digi for the car. Let me start emailing the pics to myself so I can post them.

and i was going to paint the whole car Arcadia Green so it had a "Fresh" paint to it. Thank god i still have my oem (which rusted due to heat) hood. i'll see if they can remove the rust and paint it green when i do the whole car.... gonna have to wait to see how much my ins. will go up [renew is next month ]


Edit: When i bought the car, i put new tires on the car, i made sure they had insurance. Went to pepboys, got me a NEW free tire + 20 bucks to (Balance it [$10], insurance [$7 bucks], Waste Fee [$3]).... i will always get insurance for my tire, 20 bucks vs 65 + all of the above anyways.. Def worth it in my opinion.

Amazingly suspensions are still great, and they are not blown or stiff... ask Fatman88 he rode and drove my car. also i'm extremly lucky, my airbag didnt deploy
