Can think of a few reason for the dual wastegates:
-there's two inlets to the turbo, so I think it would look funny with just one WG, though I suppose they could've just bridged the two inlets to use one WG.
-Looks spiffy I think it looks nice and balanced
-Redundancy; unlikely that both will fail at the same time.

As he said most likely its a twin scroll turbo if its that big lol. Looks good though. It will probably be running some sort of civic radiator so shouldnt worry much about those wastegates so might have enough room. As for the engine torquing im pretty sure that thing is gonna be running some sort of solid mount if not poly'd mounts if you are gonna be pushing power.

Two wastegates seems excessive........There are Single Turbo Supras running just one wastegate.

My t3 Turbo setup had one wastegate.
